Principles of biodynamic agriculture

The main purpose of the biodynamic method is to create an
balancede organism, harmonious, independent and able
to develop in a viable way.
Here an outline of the general orientations of
this method :
●
performances sustaimable quantitative and qualitative and optimal on the ecological,
economic level and on that of the management of work.
●
Mixed entreprise, constituting an ecological unit, adapted with the site. (breeding
related to the surface : approximately 1.0 to 1.2 cattle/ha).
●
IF
possible, a self-sufficiency in fodder and fertilizers.
●
Conservation of the varieties. Non-utilization of Genetically Modified
Organizations.
●
Tindigenous
roupeau.
●
Diversity
of the species and the varieties.
●
Longrotations of the cultures.
●
No chemical fertiligers.
●
Limited
use of lime, phosphates, powder of rock and organic waste.
●
Integrated management of farmyard manure, composting.
●
Utilisation of green manures and crop waste products.
●
Utilisations of the biodynamics preparations.
●
Respect
of the rates/rhythms.
●
Cultures
of "partners plants".
●
Concerning the
breeding : a stalling suitable with animal health and a longevity of the animals.
●
No
weedkillers, no biocides and no yield increase by the input of drugs.
Concrete effects :
●
Conservation and fertility of the grounds.
●
Protection of the species.
●
More auxiliaries insects.
●
No
residual formation in the grounds, water, the atmosphere and the living
organisms.
●
No
participation in the general contamination of the environment.
●
Nitrates
washing considerably reduced.
●
Production of
quality food.
●
Link the farmer with the ground.
●
Link the citizen with the ground (partnership city - countryside).
Beyond the agronomic principles, biodynamic
agriculture
innovative impulses for the economy, the social and the cultural lige.
